Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet established cleanliness standards. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to ensure a positive first impression for guests. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring surfaces. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to promote a secure working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards. Adhere to all health regulations and sanitation procedures consistent with hospitality industry requirements. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required by management. Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold service excellence across all areas. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or similar environment. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning methods. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Basic understanding of hospitality operations and customer service principles is advantageous.
