Bernhardt Winery is dedicated to providing quality wines and a fun tasting experience in a warm environment. The winery hosts a variety of special events such as festivals, live acoustic music, lawn concerts, and artisan vendor markets. Select delicious food items are offered to compliment the experience. Job Summary We are growing our winery team and are currently seeking a reliable candidate to provide housekeeping and cleaning services for our tasting room, facility, and three onsite bed and breakfast rooms. The perfect candidate has the opportunity to learn and grow with the organization. Flexible work week - daytime Wednesday through Sunday. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and hospitality levels equal to a five-star guest experience Attend to all cleaning of the winery, bed & breakfast rooms, stocking, and laundry General cleaning skills including, dusting, mopping and cleaning windows Prepare foods for bed and breakfast guests and assist with food dishes provided by the winery Assist and support winery events as needed

Requirements:

Must be physically fit to climb stairs and carry supplies to and from the bed and breakfast rooms multiple times a day Be able to lift, pull, and push moderate weight associated with the assigned task Must be punctual and have reliable transportation Be customer service focused and able to interface with customers as needed Must possess refined and courteous communication skills Food handler certification must be obtained with 30 days Must speak fluent English Must be authorized to work in the US Experience in restaurant and hotel industry a plus Ability to lift and carry items properly Foster a positive and professional work environment Willingness to learn and grow as Bernhardt Winery grows

Job Type:

Part-time Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Skilled in handling chemical agents safely with a thorough understanding of SDS and chemical handling protocols. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and other janitorial tools effectively. Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina.
