Duties Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle laundry operations efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing clothes, linens and towels Use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops, to maintain pristine floors and surfaces Follow safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling to ensure safe use of cleaning agents and prevent hazards Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to management protocols and industry best practices Assist with emergency procedures when necessary to ensure safety and operational continuity Skills Proven experience in nursing home housekeeping or custodial roles with a focus on industrial cleaning or janitorial experience Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Skilled in the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and other janitorial tools Excellent manual handling skills for lifting tasks involved in laundry and cleaning operations Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach toward residents, guests and team members Join us in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort!
