Medical & Supplemental Insurance, 401k, PTO, Company Recognized Holidays, Barter Partnership Programs & Discounts Position Summary Barter Theatre seeks a Housekeeper to be a part of a team responsible for cleaning and maintaining two theatres, lobbies, restrooms, seating areas, administrative offices, and rehearsal halls to keep the venue safe and sanitary for patrons and staff. The schedule of the position will need to be flexible as there will be some weekend shifts assigned but the position will mostly be scheduled for dayshifts. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, vacuum theatres and hallways Daily side-work Restock paper products Empty trash Perform duties as assigned Qualification & Experience Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods and lift 50lbs Self sufficient / self started (able to complete job on your own or with a team) Organized and able to prioritize tasks Friendly and show initiative Must have reliable personal transportation (as there are several properties throughout town) Organizational Overview Currently celebrating its 93rd year, Barter Theatre is a repertory company of resident artists dedicated to serving others by creating world-class theater in the heart of Appalachia.
