We're not just a traditional house-cleaning company. Our services combine residential cleaning, home organization, decluttering, household resets, and practical home support . Some clients need their kitchen and bathrooms cleaned. Others need help getting an overwhelmed house back under control. Some need an extra set of hands to organize a pantry, fold and put away laundry, prepare for guests, or reset their home after a busy week. We're looking for people who understand that sometimes what a client really needs isn't just a clean house — they need a reset. What You'll Do Depending on your skills, interests, and the appointments you choose to accept, services may include: Residential Cleaning Clean and reset kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces Dust and wipe surfaces Vacuum and mop floors Clean fixtures, countertops, appliances, and other household surfaces Complete detailed cleaning according to the client's selected service Leave each home feeling clean, fresh, and cared for Home Organization & Reset Declutter and organize rooms and household spaces Organize closets, pantries, playrooms, laundry areas, and other spaces Fold, organize, and put away laundry Help clients create more functional and manageable spaces Reset rooms after busy periods, holidays, or special events Assist clients who simply need help getting their home back under control Home Support & Extra-Set-of-Hands Services Some clients don't need a traditional cleaning appointment. They need someone who can simply help get things done . Depending on the appointment, this may include: Changing and organizing linens Preparing a home for guests Post-event or post-party home resets Packing or unpacking assistance Move-in or move-out support Seasonal home organization and resets Light household tasks requested by the client Other reasonable home-support tasks within the agreed scope of the appointment Not every contractor needs to offer every service. We want to match contractors with the types of work they enjoy and do well. How the Independent Contractor Model Works Lemon & Sage handles the marketing, client acquisition, and client relationship. Contractors are offered available appointments based on their service area, availability, and the types of services they provide. Before accepting an appointment, you'll know the: Location Date and available time Type of service General scope of the appointment Compensation offered You decide which opportunities work for you. There are no guaranteed hours and no requirement to accept every appointment offered. Compensation is based on the individual appointment and scope of work , rather than a traditional hourly employee wage.

Experienced in residential cleaning, home organization, caregiving, hospitality, housekeeping, personal assisting, or a related field Reliable and dependable Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Professional, friendly, and respectful Able to communicate effectively with clients Comfortable working with different types of homes and clients Organized and able to manage time effectively Physically capable of performing the normal duties associated with residential cleaning and home organization Able to provide reliable transportation to client appointments Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and communication You do not need to be an expert at everything. We're interested in people who have strengths they can bring to our clients. If you're an amazing cleaner but don't particularly enjoy organizing, that's okay. If you're a natural organizer who loves transforming cluttered spaces, that's valuable too. Contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes, transportation, insurance, equipment/business expenses, and other obligations associated with operating as an independent contractor. There are no guaranteed hours or employee benefits. Service Area Appointments are primarily located in Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Nokesville, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities.
