Job Description
The Country Club of Culpeper is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of our clubhouse and facilities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands that in a private club environment, cleanliness and presentation are an important part of the member and guest experience. Responsibilities Clean and maintain clubhouse facilities, including restrooms, dining areas, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and perform other routine cleaning duties. Clean and maintain high-touch areas throughout the clubhouse. Keep restrooms clean, stocked, and presented to club standards. Empty trash and recycling and maintain appropriate disposal procedures. Clean windows, mirrors, glass, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of facilities before, during, and after events. Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and communicate when inventory needs to be replenished. Identify maintenance, safety, or facility concerns and report them to management promptly. Maintain organized and clean housekeeping areas and storage spaces. Follow proper procedures for the safe use and storage of cleaning products and equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects, seasonal deep cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with members, guests, and fellow employees. What We're Looking For Previous housekeeping, custodial, hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or private club experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and pride in your work. Dependability and consistent attendance. Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities efficiently. Ability to work as part of a team when assisting with events or larger cleaning projects. Professional and respectful attitude toward members, guests, and coworkers. Ability to follow instructions and maintain established club standards. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment and supplies.
