Come work in one of Vermont's most beautiful settings! Sterling Ridge Resort is a family-owned log cabin resort set on over 300 acres of woods, trails, meadows and a private lake in Jeffersonville. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. Our housekeepers play an important role in the experience we provide our guests. Rather than working in a traditional hotel setting, you'll work throughout our individual log cabins and vacation homes, helping ensure that each one is clean, comfortable and ready to welcome arriving guests. This position is approximately 30-35 daytime hours per week. Sunday availability is required. Some flexibility in scheduling may be possible, but dependable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts is essential. Pay & Opportunity Starting pay is $18-$20 per hour, based on experience . There are opportunities for wage growth as you become fully trained, gain experience at Sterling Ridge and demonstrate strong performance and reliability. What You'll Do Clean and prepare guest cabins and vacation homes to Sterling Ridge standards Make beds and change linens and towels Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms Dust, vacuum, mop and clean floors Clean windows, appliances and other surfaces Restock guest supplies and amenities Check cabins for maintenance issues, damage or missing items and report them to a supervisor Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed Work efficiently and independently while also supporting the housekeeping team Help ensure that cabins are thoroughly cleaned and ready on time for arriving guests What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing a job well and can be counted on by both their coworkers and our guests.

The right person will:

Be dependable, punctual and ready to work at their scheduled start time Have reliable transportation to Sterling Ridge Resort in Jeffersonville Have a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate resort vehicles Have strong attention to detail and take pride in creating a clean, welcoming space Be able to work efficiently while maintaining high cleaning standards Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team Be available to work Sundays Be able to perform the physical duties of housekeeping, including standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds Previous professional housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person . Reliability, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a positive attitude are especially important to us. What We Offer Starting pay of $18-$20/hour , based on experience.
