Daytime hours; weekend availability required Job Summary The Lodge at Great Falls is a small, locally owned motel in Lyndonville looking for a dependable, detail-oriented housekeeper to join us as our business continues to grow. This is a year-round position for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing a job well, and is looking for consistent part-time work. We guarantee a minimum of 15 hours per week , with additional hours available depending on occupancy and as additional renovated rooms are opened. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful, but reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are most important to us. Responsibilities Clean and reset guest rooms between stays, including bathrooms, beds, floors, surfaces, appliances, and room amenities Change bedding and towels and restock guest supplies Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels Clean common guest areas as needed Check rooms carefully to make sure they are fully cleaned, stocked, and ready for arriving guests Keep housekeeping supplies organized and let management know when supplies are running low Report maintenance issues, damage, or missing items Assist with deep cleaning and other housekeeping projects during slower periods What We're Looking For The right person should: Be dependable and consistently arrive when scheduled Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in their work Be comfortable working independently without constant supervision Work efficiently without sacrificing cleanliness Be able to prioritize multiple room turnovers based on guest arrival times Be comfortable interacting politely and professionally with guests when necessary Have reliable transportation Be physically able to perform normal housekeeping duties, including bending, lifting, carrying laundry, and being on their feet for extended periods Previous housekeeping, hotel, or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required for the right person. Schedule Our guest check-out time is 11:00 AM and check-in begins at 3:00 PM , so most room turnovers take place during this four-hour window. Applicants should be comfortable working efficiently and independently to have rooms ready for arriving guests by check-in. Weekend availability is required. Weekends are typically our busiest time for guest stays and room turnovers, so applicants must be regularly available to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed. A minimum of 15 hours per week is guaranteed , with additional hours available based on occupancy. Hours may vary from day to day depending on the number of guest departures. During slower periods, guaranteed hours may include deep cleaning, laundry, common-area cleaning, organizing supplies, and other housekeeping projects. As we continue renovating and opening additional guest rooms, there is potential for the position and available hours to grow.
