As a Housekeeping Aide, the care you bring to your work helps create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where residents can truly feel at home. The Housekeeping Aide plays an essential role in supporting residents' comfort, dignity, and well-being by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the community. This position performs daily housekeeping and laundry services within a retirement community, including skilled nursing, memory care, catered living, assisted living, and independent living. Your work has a direct impact on how residents experience their home—and how they feel living in it. What you'll do (and why it matters) Sanitize, clean, vacuum, and maintain public and residential living areas to support a safe and welcoming environment Your attention to detail and commitment to care help residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Make beds, empty waste baskets, and dust to ensure residents feel comfortable in their personal spaces Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry with care and respect for residents' belongings Inventory and maintain supplies, storage areas, and equipment in a secure, safe, and organized manner Assist in preparing residential units for new occupants, helping them feel at home from day one What you'll need A service-oriented approach to work and a genuine desire to help others A desire to engage with seniors and support them in living their best years Ability to understand and communicate in English Willingness to perform work that may be physically demanding A mindset of care, respect, and reliability in everything you do We care about your career We believe in supporting our people as much as they support our residents.
