Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tool Room Attendant/Inventory Clerk to join our team. This vital role involves managing tooling, supplies, and inventory within our manufacturing environment to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to maintaining an efficient tool room and inventory system. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of tools, materials, and equipment using inventory management software Track tool usage, perform regular audits, and ensure proper storage and labeling of all items in the tool room. Stock/create setup bins (check for proper usage) Pull Kanban cards or fill out stock requisitions for needed tooling. Assemble and stage tooling for upcoming jobs. Evaluate tooling returned to toolroom, send out for resharpening, or return to inventory. Submit quality plans to inspection for retrieval of proper gauging. Requirements Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Physical ability for lifting and materials handling; comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and process improvement initiatives.
