Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors with proper floor care techniques. Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety guidelines and using proper protective equipment during cleaning procedures. Conduct heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies to ensure efficient room turnover and facility maintenance. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working order for optimal performance. Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation protocols diligently to guarantee guest safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles within hospitality environments. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, sanitation standards, and floor care techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety. Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina required for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, etc. Understanding of hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel emergency procedures is preferred. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory.
