This is not a chef or cooking position. The primary focus of the role is coordinating purchase orders from the retail stores, supporting the kitchen production team, ensuring products are properly labeled and packaged, maintaining quality and accuracy standards, and helping ensure completed products are ready for timely delivery to each store. The Kitchen Operations Coordinator serves as an important link between the retail stores and kitchen production team, helping ensure that orders are accurately communicated, produced, packaged, labeled, and delivered according to company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, review, and organize purchase orders and product requests from the company's retail store locations to prepare for delivery. Communicate production needs and priorities to the kitchen production team. Track orders through the production process and help ensure products are completed accurately and on schedule. Coordinate the preparation of completed products for distribution to retail locations. Accurately label finished food products in accordance with company procedures and applicable labeling requirements. Verify product labels for accuracy, including product identification, dates, quantities, and other required information. Perform quality-control checks on finished products, packaging, labeling, and order quantities before products leave the kitchen. Package and prepare products for delivery or retail distribution as needed. Compare completed orders against purchase orders to identify and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized records related to orders, production, labeling, and fulfillment as required. Communicate shortages, production issues, quality concerns, or order discrepancies to appropriate management. Help maintain an organized and efficient production and fulfillment workflow. Coordinate with retail store employees regarding order status, changes, shortages, or other fulfillment needs. Transport products, supplies, or other company materials between the kitchen and retail locations as needed. Safely operate a company vehicle or authorized vehicle when driving is required. Follow company food-safety, sanitation, quality-control, workplace-safety, and operational procedures. Maintain clean and organized packaging, labeling, storage, and work areas. Assist with inventory counts, supply organization, receiving, and other kitchen operations activities as needed. Provide hands-on operational support to the kitchen production team as needed, excluding duties requiring a chef or specialized culinary role. Receive incoming deliveries. Perform other related duties as assigned based on operational needs. Qualifications Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, fulfillment, retail operations, inventory, warehouse operations, or a similar environment preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to accurately quality control purchase orders, labels, quantities, and product information. Ability to prioritize multiple orders and communicate effectively with both kitchen and retail teams. Dependable and able to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced food-production environment. Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills. Ability to follow established food-safety, quality-control, and operational procedures. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required as driving is an essential function of the position. Bi-lingual, English/Spanish is required. Physical Requirements The physical requirements described below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Regularly stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently use hands for labeling, packaging, handling products, and performing other operational tasks. Regularly reach, bend, stoop, and move throughout kitchen, storage, and production areas. Lift, carry, push, and/or move products, boxes, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Work in and around a commercial food-production environment, which may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, refrigeration areas, food products, cleaning products, and production equipment. Safely enter and exit a vehicle and load or unload products when performing delivery duties. Work Environment This position primarily works within a commercial kitchen/food-production environment and regularly interacts with kitchen production employees, retail store personnel, and management. The position may also involve periodic driving between company locations and performing duties at retail locations.

Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
