IS A PHYSICAL JOB - OFTEN STANDING FOR LONG PERIODS

• the ideal candidate will: show up to work on time, ready to work. be able to handle meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, eggs and frozen items. assist with placing orders and tracking inventory. receive deliveries and ensure products are on invoice correctly. prepare, package and stock food, deli items, meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products. ensures proper prepping, stocking, and rotating of products. follows health department policies and standards. cleans all appropriate areas in the department. give excellent customer service - you will be giving customer service! team player - must work well in a team and independently. fills in for peers and supervisors when necessary. listens to customer concerns and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations. maintain constant communication with supervisor must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. be able to bend, squat, reach, stoop, lift, climb ladders and work at a reasonable pace. must be able to stand for long periods of time. must be able to work in cold environments such as walk-in refrigerator and freezer. already have, or be willing to take food handler certification course (we provide). cashiers - money handling, POS/computer skills.
