We work daily with the USDA and are SQF compliant. Responsibilities Prepare large quantities of food following standardized recipes and strict food safety protocols to ensure consistency and quality. Operate a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, braising units, poaching stations, and food processors efficiently and safely. Assist in menu planning and meal assembly for high-volume service, ensuring timely delivery without compromising standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas by adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques. Support food production activities including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods to meet daily operational demands. Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to recipe specifications and portion control for all meals prepared. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with stock rotation and ordering as needed to sustain continuous production. Requirements Previous experience in a high-volume food production environment is highly preferred. Strong culinary skills including proficiency in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining health standards. USDA and SQF experience preferred. Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced setting. Background with restaurant experience demonstrating excellent food handling and customer service skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
