$25.00/Hour This position is responsible for the operation of the grain bagging machines during harvest season, operation of the grain bag extractors during off harvest season, and preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment. Core Responsibilities\nBag corn, wheat, and soybeans at harvest in a timely, cost efficient manner.\nReclaim corn, wheat, and soybeans when procurement and mill need bushels.\nQuality control of bagged bushels.\nAccountable for grain and soybean shrinkage related to bagging/reclaimed grain and soybeans.\nOperate bagging/reclaiming equipment in a safe productive manner\nPerform regular preventative maintenance on bagging/reclaiming equipment\nInteract and communicate with farmer and drivers selling and delivering grain.\nResponsible for being in compliance with all environmental laws and procedures to which Smithfield Foods subscribes.\nComply with all EMS, IPS, and Animal Well Being Policies and Procedures The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
