Plant Manager/ Production Manager Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and measure spices and ingredients according to approved formulas and batch sheets. Verify ingredients, quantities, lot numbers, and batch information before production. Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and ingredient documentation. Follow all GMPs, food safety, allergen control, and sanitation procedures. Properly clean and sanitize equipment and production areas between batches. Pull, stage, and organize ingredients needed for scheduled production. Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate shortages or material needs to management. Train and direct production employees during spice batching and blending. Ensure employees follow formulas, SOPs, safety procedures, and proper production practices. Assist with packaging, labeling, or other production duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in spice, seasoning, food manufacturing, commercial kitchen, or batch production preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow formulas. Comfortable working with weights, measurements, and scaled recipes. Ability to read and complete production and batch documentation. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to lift and move bags, boxes, and containers of ingredients. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around dust, spices, production equipment, and cleaning chemicals. Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety and sanitation requirements.
