The Post-Harvest Associate performs activities related to the processing, packaging, and handling of cannabis products from post-harvest through finished goods. Reporting to the Post-Harvest Manager and working alongside other Production team members, the Post-Harvest Associate helps produce compliant, high-quality, sale-ready cannabis inventory. Daily activities may include bucking, grading, sorting, trimming, drying and curing, quality control, grinding, filling, packaging, labeling, handling, moving, storing, and organizing cannabis products. Key Responsibilities Perform daily Post-Harvest processing and packaging activities. Buck, grade, sort, trim, dry, cure, grind, fill, package, label, store, and handle cannabis products. Support the production of packaged cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, pre-rolls, and pre-ground flower. Perform quality control activities throughout processing and packaging. Clean, sanitize, and decontaminate Production areas, materials, equipment, and inputs. Support harvesting, drying, and curing of cannabis products for further processing. Produce compliant packages and labels for cannabis product distribution and inventory management. Complete required production and compliance records. Physically and virtually move cannabis inventory using applicable equipment, hardware, and software. Use systems including Dutchie, METRC, and Microsoft Office as required. Support Production leadership with inventory audits and tracking of products, supplies, and materials. Follow company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when performing Post-Harvest activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout Post-Harvest areas, including Trim and Packaging rooms, the Dry Room, hallways, bathrooms, and storage areas. Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for trimming, processing, and packaging. Complete required Post-Harvest, Production, safety, compliance, and facility training. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Experience performing cannabis processing activities, particularly packaging and production plan fulfillment, preferred. Experience working with dried cannabis during Post-Harvest processes, including drying, trimming, curing, and sorting, preferred. Experience within the Massachusetts cannabis industry preferred. Experience using and maintaining processing tools, equipment, hardware, software, and related systems. Ability to identify and escalate processing-related issues for resolution. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly related to quality control, tools, and equipment. Experience working in commercial agriculture, consumer goods manufacturing, or another highly regulated environment is a plus. Familiarity with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission requirements, OSHA requirements, City of Lowell requirements, ServSafe, or similar regulatory standards is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently. Ability to successfully complete all required background checks. Ability to complete required training, including Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) and company Production policies and procedures. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Perform cannabis processing activities using tools and equipment throughout all stages of post-harvest processing. Stand, sit, walk, stoop, bend, reach, crouch, grasp, cut, push, pull, and perform fine motor tasks for extended periods. Work at a computer while seated for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 100 feet, with or without assistance. Work in an environment with moderate noise and varying humidity and temperature levels.
