Trimmer II Details:
Direct Hire position $20.00 /annually Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:30pm to 11:30pm) Trimmer II is responsible for performing intermediate-level trimming and processing of pork products in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, yield objectives, and food safety requirements. This position requires proficiency in knife handling, product identification, and trimming techniques while maintaining productivity and product quality. The Trimmer II works as part of a production team to ensure efficient processing operations and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Trimmer II Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of meat processing, trimming, butcher, food manufacturing, or related production experience.
- Ability to safely use knives and cutting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Preferred
- Experience in pork processing or meat fabrication operations.
- Knowledge of pork cuts, anatomy, and trim specifications.
- Experience working in USDA-regulated food manufacturing facilities.
- Previous experience achieving yield and productivity targets.
