Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and proactive Corn Mill Sweeper to join our agricultural and food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the corn milling area, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of hygiene. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to efficient food processing and farming practices. Responsibilities Sweeps and cleans floors, walls, ceilings, roofs and equipment. Sprays floors, walls, ceilings, roofs and equipment. Cleans product bins. Removes refuse. Assists Millers when needed in case of choke-ups or other trouble. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred. Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed. Must be able to proficiently verbally communicate, read, and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and quality training and processes. Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationship with other colleagues. Need to be capable of working in varying climates and environment. Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules. Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk. Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures. Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property. This position is contingent upon successfully passing Grain Craft's background screening, drug-screening and physical (if applicable).
