About Us Strategic Kids is a leading provider of afterschool enrichment services. We partner with school districts to enhance the student experience by providing safe, engaging, and exciting afterschool enrichment programs. Our mission is to teach life strategies and to empower students with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-evolving educational landscape. Founded in 2013, we are experiencing rapid growth with over 1,000 employees across California, Colorado, and Washington. Job Overview We are seeking experienced and reliable afterschool substitutes to be apart of our ever growing team. We have partnered with Claremont Unified School District for the current 2026-2027 school year as an afterschool provider. We're seeking daily substitutes who can support the afterschool programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing homework help to students. Stepping into ratio and supervising a group of 20 students Facilitate classroom activities with a group of 20 students. Distribute and supervise the snack block. Responsible for taking daily attendance. Transitioning students from afterschool block periods.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older. A minimum of one year experience working with Elementary Age Children Afterschool program experience. Classroom management. Reliable Transportation. Willingness to be on call to substitute. Must be able to stand for two hours at a time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

New Hire Process:

We are seeking individuals who have a full understanding of the new hire process and can commit to Strategic Kids and the process. Please review carefully. All in person interviews will be conducted at our Strategic Kids office Brea location. The address is 3230 E Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA, 92821. All new hire orientations will be conducted at Strategic Kids headquarters. The address is 26941 Cabot Rd, suite #109, Laguna Hills, CA, 92653. Attendance is mandatory.
