Duties Supervise students during bus transit, ensuring they follow safety rules and behave appropriately. Assist students with special needs, including those with physical disabilities or behavioral challenges, to ensure their safe and comfortable transportation. Enforce school policies and transportation safety regulations consistently to maintain a secure environment onboard. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to minor injuries or health concerns. Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation personnel regarding student behavior or safety issues. Support behavior management strategies and student discipline to promote positive conduct during transit. Conduct evacuation procedures in emergency situations, ensuring all students are safely evacuated from the bus. Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Experience Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly preferred. Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is a strong advantage. Knowledge of school policies, safety regulations, and transportation procedures is beneficial. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; prior training in behavior management or conflict resolution is a plus. Classroom experience or teaching background can enhance your ability to support diverse student needs effectively.
