Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Car Porter to join our dynamic automotive team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services while efficiently managing vehicle movement within our dealership premises. Responsibilities Safely operate standard passenger vehicles, including manual transmission models, within parking areas and dealership grounds. Greet guests warmly, assist with vehicle arrivals and departures, and provide clear directions or information as needed. Perform light vehicle inspections, including checking for damages or issues before parking or retrieving vehicles. Handle cash transactions accurately when processing parking fees or related payments, demonstrating retail math and cashiering skills. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving vehicle accessories or equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Communicate effectively with team members and guests, providing updates on vehicle status or location as required. Experience Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail environments is preferred. Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive service operations is a plus. Comfortable operating standard passenger cars, including manual transmission vehicles. Outdoor work experience that demonstrates reliability in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks regularly. Basic cash handling skills along with proficiency in retail math for processing transactions accurately.
