Full Job Description Bus Monitor Duties:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of students while they are on the bus
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
• Maintain order and discipline among students during bus rides
• Communicate with the bus driver regarding any issues or concerns
• Educate students on proper bus behavior and safety rules
• Report any incidents or accidents that occur on the bus to the appropriate authorities
• Assist in emergency evacuation procedures if necessary

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Patience and understanding when dealing with students of different ages and backgrounds
• Knowledge of basic first aid procedures is a plus
