Job Description

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our team! In this role, you will help plan and facilitate engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate is creative, patient, and enjoys working with seniors in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Activities Aide Benefits:

Activities Aide Responsibilities:
Organize and lead recreational activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, and group events Encourage resident involvement, adapting programs to meet various levels of ability Provide assistance with transporting residents to activities or outings Promote a cheerful atmosphere that supports emotional and social well-being Document participation and feedback to support program planning
Activities Aide Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in long-term care or working with older adults preferred Energetic, personable, and enthusiastic about making a difference Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset Physical ability to assist residents as needed and support activity setup Excelcare is an equal opportunity employer.
