Conducts activities assessments on all new admissions to the Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Provides activities including but not limited to crafts, cooking, Wii, bingo, etc. Maintains a monthly calendar/schedule of activities provided. Seeks input and direction from
OT/PT/SLP
staff to provide patient centered activities. Completes computer charting in flowsheet format to document participation and tolerance to activity. Communicates with interdisciplinary rehab team including physiatrist. Most activities are provided in the evenings or on weekends.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE BLS
certification within 90 days of hire
