Job Description

The Gym Coordinator is responsible for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for youth in the gymnasium while supporting the mission of the Boys & Girls Club. This position plans, organizes, and supervises recreational activities, sports tournaments, and open gym programming for members of all ages. The Gym Coordinator promotes teamwork, inclusion, and good sportsmanship while ensuring participants follow Club rules and safety guidelines. Additional responsibilities include setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring the condition of the gym and supplies, assisting with special events, and collaborating with other Club staff to provide high-quality youth development programs. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and enjoys building positive relationships with young people while encouraging healthy lifestyles and active participation. Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm
