Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Activity Assistant for Silverstone Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care facility Ability to multi task Assisting in activities Activity Assistant Qualifications Previous experience in Activities with the elderly a plus Long term care experience is a plus Activity Assistant Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with other department the needs of the residents with diversion and creative activities Work with Memory Care residents on cognitive development activities Conduct activities in coordination with Activities Director Participate in the development and implementation of the assessment process and the residents care plan Follow the regulations as outlined by CMS and DHSS Support a balance of recreational activities including physical, social, religious, diversional, intellectual and creative art and crafts Participate in Resident council as needed Ensure inclusivity of all residents Document in the residents' physical chart the progress of the residents in activities Distribute mail and assist residents in need with opening and reading Assist in the dining room(s) during meal times as needed If you meet the requirements of our Activity Assistant position, please apply today!
