Curious Jane Camp is looking for a Creative Camp Counselors for August 3-7 and 10-14. Curious Jane Camp is for girls who like to make things! And we are coming back to Woodstock this August with our project-packed two-week program. We are seeking fantastic Counselors to assist our Lead Instructors for our creative classes. About Curious Jane We run project-based summer camps for girls ages 5 to 11. Everything is hands-on, colorful, fun and inventive... we build confidence through making things! With weekly themes like Fab Lab, Room Makeover, Design Studio, Secret Worlds and more

About the Woodstock Program and Position Curious Jane is Brooklyn-based and entering its 18th summer of camp. We are returning for our fourth summer in Woodstock for the two weeks of Aug 3-7 and Aug 10-14 at Woodstock Day School. We offer 5 creative classes each week (for girls entering grades K-1st, 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th). Each class is led by an Instructor and one or two Counselors. Our instructors have experience in teaching and creative education, and are responsibility for leading the class. And our counselors are energetic young women, often college students, who play a strong supporting role.

Work with other counselors to lead the afternoon Collaborative Period for the campers Work with the rest of the staff to create and build a supportive and fun environment for the girls! Key Skills

• punctuality, preparedness, classroom management, creativity, energy, and fun! Qualifications Experience working with children; in a school, camp or other educational setting Strong communication skills and openness to collaboration at all levels Counselor
• Age 18+ and entering a college year, Compensation $575
• 650 per week, based on experience We currently have only counselor positions available.
