Job Description

Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and leading daily resident activities. Encourage participation in recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities. Provide one-on-one activities for residents who prefer or require individual engagement. Assist with special events, holidays, outings, and entertainment. Build positive relationships with residents and encourage socialization. Document resident participation and activity outcomes. Assist with maintaining the activity calendar and supplies. Follow all facility policies and safety requirements. Work closely with the Activity Director and interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in activities, recreation, senior care, healthcare, or long-term care preferred. Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus. Must be dependable, patient, creative, and compassionate. Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
