Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for the right candidates to fill both Full Time and Part Time positions as Activity Assistants/Life Enrichment Specialists. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. The Activity Assistants/Life Enrichment Specialists are responsible for creating a fun environment and engaging our Residents in activities. The ideal candidates will have previous experience leading activities in either a nursing home or memory care assisted living setting. Responsibilities Help to implement age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, social, and emotional development. Supervise Residents during activities to ensure safety Foster an inclusive environment where all Residents feel valued and engaged. Communicate effectively with Residents and staff regarding daily activities and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized activity space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate events and programs that enhance the overall experience for Residents. Document participation Complete 1:1 sessions with Residents as needed Be creative in helping Activity Coordinator developing daily activities and keeping residents engaged Qualifications Experience in a memory care setting is preferred. Strong management skills with the ability to engage Residents effectively. Excellent communication skills A genuine passion for working with the elderly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Must be a self starter Join us in making a difference in the lives of our Residents by providing them with enriching and engaging activities. The Full-Time position works 32-38 hours per week and the Part-Time is position works 20-26 hours per week, both positions work every other weekend, and an occasional evening if there is a special event.
