While working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, the Central Reservations Supervisor will assist the Central Reservations Manager with day-to-day operations that aid to the overall success of the Central Reservations Team. They will foster a positive and rewarding work environment for all employees lending to a remarkable guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Helps to create an environment that assures exceptional employee and guest experiences Answers calls & voicemails through Reservation Sales System Monitors & replies to Hallmark email accounts as well as OTA emails Keeps track of add-ons/packages and ensures that they are ordered and appropriately posted to reservations Answers calls while creating Leads through Reservation Sales Processes reservations through the property management system (WRP) Assists with call auditing & scoring Available on weekends and holidays as well as for coverage for agent call outs Responds to guest needs and anticipates their unstated ones Assist Central Reservations Manager with training reservation staff Is the direct contact for agents when Central Reservations Manger is out of the office Open availability for scheduling & when shifts need covered Supervisory Responsibilities Works with Central Reservations team to take calls and perform agent duties while working closely with the Central Reservation Manger to directly supervise the Central Reservations Staff. Additional responsibilities include assisting with interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and bringing them to the Central Reservations Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent: at least three years' related experience and/or training required. Experience in hospitality preferred Advanced basic computer job skills including a working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word required. Experience with WebRezPro PMS (WRP) and Revinate knowledge and understanding preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational skills
