We have found that although food service is not MANDATORY, it is extremely favorable. We will train the right minded person(s) but cooking and/or serving will be extremely helpful. This position will require you to train and learn all positions within the restaurant. This will be a fulltime evening position 5pm-12am or 5pm-1am Friday and Saturday A Denny's Assistant Manager runs the diner during their shift. They supervise 5 to 20 crew members, manage guest satisfaction, and ensure food quality and safety. They also help the General Manager with hiring, training, scheduling, and controlling food and labor costs.

Shift Management:

Oversee daily operations to ensure guests get great service.

Staff Leadership:

Hire, train, and schedule team members.

Financial Duties:

Monitor food waste, manage cash, and keep labor costs within budget.

Safety & Sanitation:

Check equipment temperatures and ensure cleanliness to meet brand standards.

Guest Relations:

Handle customer requests and complaints.

Job Requirement Experience:

Usually requires 1+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.

Availability:

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

Requires extensive standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Typical Wages & Benefits Pay:
