We are seeking a candidate who wants to grow with our store as we continue to grow and expand. If you like to have fun and be around people in a fast paced work environment, then working at Jersey Mike's is the job for you. In order to be considered for this position you must go through a 90 day probationary period. During that time you will get paid a shift leader pay rate. Must be open to learning about running a successful business, growing your career/skill set and pleasing people with our great authentic sub sandwiches, you'll also learn a whole new level of social engagement and customer service that will reward you for life. As an Assistant Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Supporting the management team in exuction of running shifts. Lead by example in terms of quality of the food they make, the way they interact and provide customer service, and coming to work in a clean, fitted and pressed uniform daily. Being pro-active with daily operations. Greet and interact with customers in a friendly manner. Preparing America's most authentic tasting submarine sandwich. Prepare dishes according to customers' needs and preferences. Ensuring the restaurant is kept clean and organized for our guests. Assist crew member with the daily operation of a restaurant. Monitor and maintain quality standards for the restaurant. Communicate with co-workers.
