With riverboat tours, water activities, trails, recreation, and diverse guest experiences, the park provides an exciting environment for a hospitality leader with strong marine operations experience to make a meaningful impact. The General Manager will oversee a team of guest-focused employees and multiple guest-facing operations, including riverboat tours, tour boat operations, kayak and bike rentals, food & beverage, retail, and guest services . This leader will be responsible for day-to-day operations, financial performance, marine and guest safety , team development, and delivering an exceptional experience for every guest. A current USCG Captain's License is required , along with the ability to provide hands-on leadership and oversight of the park's boating and water-based operations. What You'll Do Lead all aspects of daily park operations, ensuring high standards for guest service, safety, quality, and cleanliness. Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop a team customer oriented employees. Oversee tour boat, kayak and bike rental, food & beverage, retail, and guest service operations. Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, inventory, and other key financial and operational metrics. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance the guest experience. Develop staffing plans and schedules based on seasonal business levels and guest demand. Ensure compliance with Company policies, Park requirements, and applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Serve as the primary liaison with Park representatives, Corporate leadership, vendors, and community partners. Respond to guest concerns and ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally. Maintain the appearance and overall presentation of the park and guest-facing areas. Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service. Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the operation. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of hospitality, recreation, tourism, attraction, resort, retail, or related management experience. Experience leading and developing hourly employees in a customer-facing environment. Strong operational and financial management skills. Experience overseeing multiple lines of business or revenue centers. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. A hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on team development and accountability. Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. A current USCG Captains License is required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require. Experience in outdoor recreation, parks, attractions, resorts, or tourism is highly preferred.
