Consistent in the brands message that is trained, coached and upheld in day-to-day operations. The GM is challenged with leading by example. The general manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. Managing Huey Magoo's level of brand standards in all areas of operation; ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our guests. They also take an integral part of introducing the brand to our newest brand partners. Always seeking to provide training and development opportunities for team members. A Huey Magoo's GM/AGM is pro-active, involved, present, organized, energetic and a great listener. Leading a team of people, building relationships with guests and co-workers. Train and develop team members, controlling food, paper, and labor costs, safety, guest and vendor relations, restaurant maintenance, and inventory management. This is a full-time position where the manager supervises the shifts and would be opening and closing the restaurant. Our GM/AGM is consistent with teaching the proven and current methods that make our restaurants successful and profitable every day. Driving excellence and producing bottom line results to the P&L is second only to being committed to the quality of the employee experience in our restaurant. ENGAGEMENTS
Educate, train, develop, and inspire team members within the Huey Magoo's brand. Personify the brand. Apply the most relevant teaching techniques to people individually. Use effective learning theories and principles and creativity to create engagement for all employees. Committed to hiring the best talent and developing each person at the rate they are comfortable with. Consult with the corporate operations and training departments weekly for brand cohesion. Provide input and information to the Operations Department that has the intent of excellence, guest experience and franchise-level profitability. Engages in development and implementation of training material and rollout of new or revised practices. Identify employees capable of extended development to corporate level positions and work with Operations department to initiate their development. Drive bottom line results to the P&L and account for all results to the Board of Directors for Huey Magoo's Restaurants Llc Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform all job responsibilities and accountabilities. The items listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to work 50 hours per week. Ability to work well independently as the leader and head coach of a team environment, aptitude to overcome barriers, multitask, accomplish tasks by the established deadline and within a high-pressure environment. Ability to lift 50lbs at a time Proficient with safety and sanitation guidelines/expectations. 50-55 work week including days/nights and weekends.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1+ years' experience in a management role in a QSR/Fast Casual restaurant setting Education directly related to training, culinary, hospitality or related fields preferred Manager Food Safety certification required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Experience with online ordering systems is a plus Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously required Multi-lingual a plus

Train and coach compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in dining facilities. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared to Huey Magoo's standards. Count money and make bank deposits. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Audit budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Maintain food, equipment, inventories and keep inventory records. Schedule staff hours and assign duties. Create structure to complete work at maximum efficiency. Sit, Think, Plan, Execute Perform duties in a timely manner, deliver. Build and nurture favorable business relationships with team members, brand partners, and vendors to promote a cooperative harmonious working environment. Be a Servant Leader at all times. Relate information in an understandable delivery to peers, superiors, and outside contacts. Keeps immediate supervisor informed of all business matters pertaining to all areas of responsibility. Takes prompt action to resolve problems or barriers and suggests alternative solutions or actions when necessary. Maintain strict confidentiality with information within the department. Creates periodic action plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and financial performance. Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
