We\'re hiring a Kitchen Manager to run back-of-house operations, including prep, line, expo, and closing procedures, and to lead a kitchen team of approximately 12 employees.
Schedule:
Full-time, including game days and high-volume events. Hospitality schedule; not a standard MondayFriday shift.
Pay:
\$46,000\$56,000 base salary depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to food cost, labor cost, and overall kitchen performance.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations including prep, line, expo, and closing procedures Train and develop line cooks and shift leads Manage ordering, inventory, and waste tracking Build BOH labor schedules, including coverage for game days and large events Ensure compliance with health code, sanitation, and food safety standards Manage food cost and monitor ticket times Collaborate on menu updates, specials, and execution standards Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that passes internal and external inspections
Requirements:
Prior experience leading a back-of-house team, line, or kitchen in a busy bar or restaurant environment Comfortable working nights, weekends, and high-volume event days Strong organizational and training skills, with a focus on measurable results (food cost, labor, ticket times) Comfortable jumping onto the line during high-volume periods only when needed
