Company Description Voulez Vous is an immersive cabaret experience that fuses dining, performance, and nightlife into a single curated journey. Positioned at the intersection of luxury hospitality and experiential entertainment, it reimagines the traditional dinner show and elevates modern nightlife. Every aspect, from choreography and lighting to service and ambiance, is designed with intentional artistry and precision. Currently in a pre-opening phase, Voulez Vous is building this world through a behind-the-scenes narrative that showcases the creativity and discipline behind the final performance. The concept will launch in two flagship destinations-Chicago, IL and Naples, FL-offering themed cabaret nights, private events, corporate entertainment, and signature shows for guests who value atmosphere, artistry, and exceptional hospitality. Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Willowbrook, Chicago, IL, responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations for Voulez Vous. This role will lead and manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring seamless coordination between hospitality, performance, and technical production. The General Manager will oversee guest experience, staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management, while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and brand consistency. They will manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost controls, and collaborate closely with creative, production, and events teams to execute themed cabaret nights, private functions, and corporate events. The role also includes building relationships with partners and vendors, driving revenue through reservations and events, and supporting pre-opening activities such as hiring, systems implementation, and operational workflows. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality, nightlife, or experiential entertainment operations, with responsibility for venue or multi-department management. Strong leadership skills, including team management, coaching, performance evaluation, and the ability to build an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture. Operational excellence in scheduling, inventory control, vendor coordination, and adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and familiarity with POS and reservation systems. Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences, handle high-profile clientele, and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion. Experience partnering with creative, production, and technical teams to align service standards with show design and event requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and represent the brand to external partners. Experience with pre-opening or new concept launches, including hiring, training, process development, and operational setup, is highly beneficial. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with performance and event schedules. Bachelor's degree
