We're looking for someone to help create the kind of home where our family can thrive. We're a busy family with demanding careers, active kids, multiple dogs, and a full life. Like many families, it's easy to spend evenings and weekends catching up on chores instead of enjoying each other. We want to change that. We're searching for an exceptional person who takes genuine pride in creating a clean, organized, welcoming home and finds satisfaction in making life easier for others. If you've ever walked into a beautifully cared-for home and thought... "I love making a home feel like this." ...this may be exactly the opportunity you've been looking for. Our Vision Imagine it's Friday afternoon. The house is spotless. Fresh sheets are on the beds. The laundry is finished and put away. The refrigerator is stocked with healthy, ready-to-eat meals. Fresh fruit is prepared. Healthy snacks are ready for busy evenings and kids' activities. The pantry is organized. Our pets are cared for. The cooler is packed if we're headed out for the weekend. Maybe there are fresh flowers on the kitchen island. Instead of spending Saturday catching up on everything that didn't get done during the week... Our family simply gets to be together. That's the difference we hope you'll help create. Your Mission Take ownership of our household so our family can spend less time managing everyday life and more time living it. This role isn't about completing an endless to-do list. It's about creating calm, organization, time, and a home that feels cared for. Your Priorities #1 — An Exceptionally Clean & Organized Home This is the heart of the position. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning and takes pride in doing it thoroughly —not simply light housekeeping. You'll help own the cleanliness and organization of our home, including laundry, fresh linens, deep cleaning on a rotating schedule, and maintaining organized spaces. You'll also have dedicated time and budget for improvement projects such as closets, the pantry, storage areas, basement, garage, or whatever area could use some attention that week. #2 — Healthy Meals & A Stocked Kitchen Help make healthy eating easy for our family. This includes grocery shopping, preparing nutritious meals, washing and preparing fresh fruit, keeping healthy snacks available, and maintaining an organized pantry and refrigerator. Some weeks that may also mean preparing grab-and-go meals or packing a cooler so we're ready for a busy evening or weekend away. We want cooking to be something we do because we want to—not because we have to. #3 — Personal & Family Support Help remove the dozens of little things that consume time during a busy week. That may include errands, returns, personal appointments, household service appointments, vehicle maintenance, travel preparation, gift purchasing, holiday preparation, and seasonal decorating using our existing décor. Our pets are also an important part of our family.
Pet responsibilities are simple:
spending some time giving them attention, feeding them when needed, and keeping their fenced outdoor area clean. #4 — Limited Executive Support There is also a small executive-support component to the position. This may include keeping an executive office clean and organized, helping keep a calendar straight, assisting with travel preparation, organizing materials, or handling an occasional business-related errand. This is not an Executive Assistant position, and you will not be responsible for running the business. Household responsibilities remain the primary focus of the role. We Want You to Have Real Ownership We're not looking for someone who needs a detailed checklist every morning.
We want someone who notices:
"We're getting low on those snacks." "That closet isn't working very well." "They're leaving for the weekend—I should get the cooler ready." "These flowers would look great on the island." ...and takes initiative. We'll give you the tools to do that. You'll have: ✔ A household purchasing card for approved household expenses. ✔ A monthly Household Improvement Budget for organizers, storage solutions, fresh flowers, and thoughtful improvements that make our home function and feel better. ✔ Access to a family vehicle during work hours for errands, shopping, and appointments, so you won't need to put work-related miles on your personal vehicle. ✔ The autonomy to recommend better systems and make thoughtful improvements. ✔ A family that will notice, value, and appreciate what you contribute. We don't expect perfection on day one. We'll establish priorities together, build systems that work, and allow the position to evolve as we learn each other's strengths. Who Will Thrive Here?
Someone who:
Takes tremendous pride in their work Genuinely enjoys keeping a home exceptionally clean Notices details other people miss Loves organization and creating better systems Enjoys cooking and preparing healthy food Is dependable and trustworthy Is comfortable around multiple dogs Can work independently and manage their own time Takes initiative rather than always waiting to be asked Is warm, positive, discreet, and professional Finds genuine satisfaction in helping other people Wants ownership—not just a list of chores Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that making another family's life better is meaningful work. This Is a Long-Term Opportunity We're not looking for temporary help. We're hoping to find someone who wants to become a trusted part of our family's life for years to come. Someone who wants to grow with us. Someone we'll value, appreciate, trust, and invest in. The position is expected to be approximately 25-35 hours per week , with the potential for additional hours as the role develops and depending on the needs of our family and the interests and strengths of the right person. Employment Requirements Employment will be contingent upon: Professional reference checks Background screening Drug screening Credit screening Motor Vehicle Record check A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
