The Blue Gate Restaurant seeks a dedicated front-of-house Shift Manager to join our team. As Shift Manager, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will manage employees, deliver exceptional guest satisfaction, and plan for success each shift.

Shift Manager Responsibilities:

Lead by example. Oversee shift operations. Manage and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service. Consistently meet high standards of guest satisfaction. Plan and organize daily activities to optimize efficiency and productivity. Maintain a positive, professional work environment. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. Assist in the training and development of new and existing staff members. Find shift coverage as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Shift Manager Qualifications:

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but we will train the right individual. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A clear criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years old.
