Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands on Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily kitchen operations, food quality, inventory control, purchasing, scheduling, food cost contol and maintaining all health and safety standards. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations, conducting regular inspections and staff training. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and team management capabilities. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management, timely service, and excellent customer experiences. Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Qualifications Strong background in restaurant management with expertise in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety management. Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with team leadership abilities to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and culinary techniques. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking, order quantities, and financial reporting.
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
