Overview The Library Steakhouse is looking for a motivated, ambitious, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As a small, family-owned restaurant, we all wear many hats

•and our managemnet team is no exception. This is a hands-on position for someone who isn't afaiar to jump in wherever needed. One moment you may be assisting with managemnet responsibilities, and the next you may be greeting guests, helping the host stand, running food, bussing tables or assisting the team through a busy dinner service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning restaurant management from the ground up and growing with our business. Responsibilities Assist management with daily restaurant operations Support and help lead the front-of-house team during service Fill in wherever needed, including hosting, bussing, food running, and other FOH positions Help maintain an oraginzed, clean, and guest-focused restaurant Assist with booking private parties, special events and room rentals Communicate with guests regarding event details and reservation needs Help ensure opening, closing and daily side work is completed properly Assist with staff organization and maintaining service standards Learn and utlize our POS system Help create a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment Who We're Looking For Highly motivated and dependable Detail-oriented and organized Ambitious and interested in growing into restaurant management Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems Friendly, professional, and confident communication with guests Willing to jump in and help wherever needed Able to work well in a fast-paced environment A team player with a strong work ethic Available to work evenings and weekends Experience Previous restaurant, hospitality or management experience is preferred but not required. $18.00

•$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0
