Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dough Maker to join our Pizza team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation and food handling. As a Dough Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality dough for various menu items, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch. Duties Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for various types of dough. Monitor the dough-making process to ensure proper texture, flavor, and consistency. Assist in menu planning by providing input on dough-based items and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help train new kitchen staff on dough preparation techniques and best practices. Perform regular inventory checks of ingredients and supplies needed for dough production. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with culinary techniques related to dough preparation is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development will be highly valued.
