In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure top-quality food preparation, manage staff, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your energy, leadership, and culinary passion will drive success in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills while celebrating rich culinary traditions. Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, delivery, and customer satisfaction. Manage and train staff on food handling, cafe/kitchen procedures, Clover POS system and customer service standards. Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and proper food production to ensure quality and efficiency. Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling sales using POS systems. Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between team members while maintaining high service standards. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team. Monitor profit and loss statements, budgeting efforts, and cost controls to maximize restaurant profitability. Requirements Proven experience in full service restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations. Extensive knowledge of food and cafe preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and leadership skills in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS Systems for sales transactions and inventory tracking. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations efficiently. Experience with fine dining or casual dining environments; catering experience is a plus. Strong communication skills for managing staff training, customer interactions, and managerial responsibilities. Ability to serve guests from behind the counter in our bakery/cafe, as well as serve tables when needed. (Tips will be added to your pay) Ability and enthusiasm to assist in cleaning the restaurant when needed, wash dishes when needed, and perform any and all tasks associated with keeping and showcasing the restaurant in its finest form. Ability to work a 12pm-9:30 (possibly a bit later, depending on business) 6 days per week Some flexibility in schedule, as the restaurant may require.
