This is not a position for someone who simply watches the shift—we are looking for a true leader who takes initiative, sets expectations, delegates responsibilities, and holds team members accountable. The ideal candidate is comfortable setting clear expectations and giving clear direction, correcting problems immediately, addressing poor performance, and making sure every employee stays productive and follows company standards. You should be willing to work alongside the team while also maintaining authority and ensuring that all opening, closing, cleaning, food-quality, guest experience, and operational responsibilities are completed correctly. We want someone who treats the location like it is their own—someone who notices problems before they become bigger issues, takes pride in keeping the restaurant organized, and is not afraid to have difficult conversations when necessary. You will work closely with the owners and management team to strengthen the staff, improve consistency, and create a more disciplined and successful operation. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a quick, friendly manner Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and managing food safety protocols Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is a bonus!
