Lead One of Southeastern New Mexico's Premier Private Clubs We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly visible Working General Manager to lead all aspects of our private club. This is a hands-on executive leadership position responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience through outstanding hospitality, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and team leadership. This is not a desk job. The successful candidate will be actively engaged in the daily operation of the club—interacting with members, leading employees, supporting restaurant and bar operations, overseeing tournaments and events, and ensuring every area of the club reflects the highest standards of service. The General Manager reports directly to the Board of Directors and serves as the club's chief operating leader. Primary Responsibilities
Lead all daily operations while maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout the club.
Provide an exceptional member and guest experience.
Recruit, hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and retain outstanding employees.
Develop department managers and foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
Oversee restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, tournaments, weddings, and member events.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and financial reports.
Manage labor, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.
Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors to execute strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, liquor, and employment regulations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and hospitality across the property.
Build positive relationships with members through visibility, communication, and responsiveness. Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, hotel, resort, or private club management.
At least three (3) years leading managers, supervising teams, and overseeing daily operations.
Experience managing operating budgets, labor costs, purchasing, and inventory.
Experience supervising 25 or more employees in a hospitality environment.
Demonstrated success improving guest/member satisfaction and operational performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High ethical standards, professionalism, sound judgment, and unquestioned integrity.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events. Preferred Qualifications
Private club or country club management experience.
Experience overseeing upscale dining operations.
Experience managing weddings, tournaments, banquets, and member events.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Food Safety Manager and alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain). Employment Requirements
Successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
Provide three professional references, including at least two from current or former supervisors.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States. First 90 Days
Build strong relationships with members, employees, and the Board of Directors.
Evaluate current operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
Present recommendations to improve member service, operational efficiency, staffing, and financial performance. What We're Looking For

Competitive salary of $65,000-$100,000 based on experience.
