Job Description

Candidates who have been interested in moving up into management or have been shift leaders, crew leaders, or certified trainers in the past are ideal. Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is a family style restaurant with a signature bakery, and we believe in providing an excellent dining experience at a quality price. We are one of the top brands in our segment. Currently we are seeking applicants for Assistant Manager positions. We are looking for an entry level candidate, but you would still be responsible for running a shift on their own. You would be responsible for front and back of the house employees. You would also be responsible for training development, financial goals, meeting time standards, customer service, cleaning, and several other duties. You must be self-driven and able to command the respect of the people you are working with. Some management experience prior to this is expected. This management position requires hands on help to the back of house. Cooking, prepping, and baking are part of the responsibilities along with managing the shift. Requirements

Server or cooking background
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Passion for the restaurant business
Able to train, motivate and recruit employees
Desire to learn new systems and implement them
Must be reliable and willing to work in fun, fast-paced environment.
