Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Fine Dining Restaurant & Private Events Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations while planning, coordinating, and executing small private events. This role ensures exceptional guest experience, maintains high service standards, and drives revenue through event bookings and repeat clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations Manage daily front-of-house operations, including dining room service, reservations, and guest relations. Supervise, train, and schedule service staff (servers, hosts, bartenders) Maintain fine dining service standards, ambiance, and cleanliness. Manage guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally. Coordinate with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service. Private Events Management Serve as primary contact for small private events (e.g., 10-75 guests) Conduct site tours and respond to event inquiries. Plan and coordinate event details including menus, timelines, room setup, and staffing. Collaborate closely with clients to customize events and ensure expectations are met. Oversee event execution on-site to ensure flawless service. Sales & Business Development Drive private event bookings and maximize revenue opportunities. Build relationships with repeat guests, corporate clients, and local community. Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions, and social media presence. Maintain event calendar and ensure proper booking procedures. Administrative Duties Basic understanding of cost; Profit & Loss Monitor labor and operational costs to meet budget goals:

Liquor Cost Manage POS, reservations and event management systems (e.g., Square, OpenTable, Triple Seat.) Prepare event contracts, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and invoices. Track event costs, deposits, and final payments.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in fine dining restaurant management and/or event coordination Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette Excellent communication and people skills Proven ability to manage staff and lead by example. Experience with event planning software and POS systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Wine and beverage knowledge (sommelier certification a plus) Sales or hospitality marketing experience
