  • 80,000 per year Full-Time | Approximately 50-53 Hours Per Week Davenport's Restaurant is looking for an experienced Full-Service Restaurant Manager to join our management team at our busy Cumberland location.
We are looking for a manager who is strong with people and restaurant operations . The right person knows how to lead a team, communicate expectations, keep employees organized and motivated, and make sure restaurant standards are being followed. This position is ideal for an experienced restaurant manager who enjoys being involved in the operation, developing employees, taking care of guests, and working as part of a strong management team. What You'll Be Responsible For Manage and lead employees throughout each shift, including servers, bartenders, hosts, takeout, expo, and kitchen staff . Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable to restaurant policies and standards. Train, coach, motivate, and develop new and existing employees. Address employee performance, attendance, professionalism, and workplace issues when necessary. Oversee daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations. Maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment . Make sure employees are positioned properly and the restaurant is staffed appropriately for business volume. Coordinate communication between the kitchen, expo, hosts, servers, takeout, and bar. Maintain fast, friendly, and consistent guest service. Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve problems quickly. Monitor labor and make staffing adjustments based on business volume. Maintain food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization. Assist with inventory, waste control, food costs, and other operating expenses. Make sure opening, shift-change, and closing procedures are completed correctly. Communicate with other managers and follow through on operational and employee issues. Help improve the overall performance, organization, and profitability of the restaurant. What We're Looking For Previous management experience in a full-service restaurant is strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop employees . Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding employees accountable when necessary. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant. Organized, dependable, professional, and consistent. Able to stay calm and make good decisions during busy shifts. Strong understanding of guest service and restaurant operations. Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, food cost, and restaurant financial controls is a plus. ServSafe certification is a plus. Experienced Restaurant Managers, Assistant General Managers, FOH Managers, and Service Managers are encouraged to apply. Schedule We believe restaurant managers can be committed to the business while still having reasonable and consistent time off. Approximately 50-53 hours per week Two days off each week One Saturday or Sunday off each week Combination of day and evening management shifts Schedule may vary during holidays, special events, and particularly busy periods
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$75,000
