Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for the food service industry. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Manage staff assign tasks, and provide guidance to team members to enhance productivity. Assist with food preparation and ensure that all menu items meet quality standards. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively to ensure satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Conduct training sessions for new employees on food service protocols, safety practices, and customer service skills. Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses related to food preparation and staffing. Skills Proven experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in a quick service fast food restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety regulations. Excellent budgeting skills to manage operational costs effectively. Ability to train and develop staff through effective interviewing techniques and ongoing training initiatives. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike. Experience as an assistant manager or similar supervisory role is preferred.
