Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service delivery Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting ongoing development to uphold service standards Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality, presentation, and safety compliance across all kitchen activities Oversee inventory control and food management to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and maintain cost efficiency Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, managing labor costs, and maintaining high productivity levels Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience with skills in team management and staff training Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage hospitality teams confidently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for order accuracy, inventory tracking, and financial reporting Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant where your leadership will elevate guest experiences while fostering a vibrant team environment.
